Signs of the End

by Thabiti Anyabwile

Mike, a similar story appears in the Times.  Isn't the evangelical move left to support Obama mentioned somewhere as a sign of the end of all things and the coming of the anti-Christ?  Oh, I'm sorry.  Maybe that was the Left Behind novels.

My colleague, Ryan Messmore, just wrote this piece--"Preparing the Way: Evangelicals and the election." (http://article.nationalreview.com/?q=MGI5ZDk1ZTMyMDViYTMxZTRiYzQ4N2ExNThmNTY2MjE=) It discusses evangelicals and politics with a special focus on tomorrow's Saddleback Civil Forum. Messmore is a thoughtful evangelical with expertise in areas of religion and civil society. There will likely be some commentary after the Saddleback event as well.

Most importantly, what are you doing reading the Times? Surely they don't deliver the little orange bags of right-wing goodness all the way down there in Grand Cayman? Or did they recently scrape together the cash for a website?
