Brazil 1

by Jonathan Leeman

So Matt and I are now in Brazil. We're midway through a conference sponsored by the excellent Brazilian Christian publisher Fiel with several other speakers: Phil Newton, Joel Beeke, Sam Waldron, and Stuart Olliyat.

For better or worse, I watched a lot of James Bond movies as a kid. You know how they're all set in exotic Mediterranian and South American places? I've told Matt like six times I feel like we're set in a James Bond movie...a James Bond movie filled with, uh, hundreds of pastors.  Yeah, that's it. And no James Bond. Or cool cars. There are some tour buses parked out front, though.

Here's where the conference is held and where we're all staying--the Hotel Monte Real:

Hi Jonathan, I would love to be there, too bad the best pastor's conference in Brazil is too expansive for pastor most of the Brazilian pastors, like me! I am praying for you, that God can use you to challenge Brazilian pastors to change their goals from growth to healthiness. May God bless you.
