I've always viewed Mark Dever more like a papal figure, so yes in a technical sense I guess he would be an apostle.

If I may humbly bring up a small point, I am a little concerned about this posting. Don't you think that for some who are not as familiar with 9Marks and Mark Dever's theology that this posting could be seen as an endorsement of continuationism? I think that this posting is confusing as with no mention of cessationism, it could easily appear to support continuationism.
