At the SBC
The 9Marks at Nine event went really well last night. There was a big crowd, and it was great to have David Platt with us on the panel discussion. His message at the pastors' conference last night was courageous and prophetic.
Tonight at 9:00 PM we've got 9Marks at Nine, Part II. Danny Akin will be speaking and Josh Smith will be joining the panel discussion.
Also, for those of you non-SBC readers who wonder what it's like to be here... I'll just give you a picture of a display that sits in the lobby right outside of the meeting space. I'm not going to lie, this whole thing is a bit of culture shock for a guy from Philadelphia:
I generally try to separate my evangelism from thinly veiled threats of decapitation and taxidermy... but as I said, I'm from the North.
I've seen that number somewhere before but I can't put my antler on it...?
