Internet Baptism?
Friends,
Below is the "first known internet baptism" ever. Let's not merely dismiss it as funny or quirky. Would love to know from the 9Marks bloggers their real concerns about what you are about to see.
Many thanks!

The 9Marks blog aims to stimulate a helpful conversation among pastors, church leaders, and Christians about life together in the local church.

Well, it's certainly a public profession of faith. Putting all our baptisms on Youtube today might be a closer way to what getting baptized was like in New Testament times when they had to go down to the the river where everyone would see. Certainly it's more risky than being baptized in our own private baptism tubs hidden in our church walls.
Honestly, I don't see why the pastor had to do it, I think it's fine that other believers baptize people.

Many concerns, but I'd say the simple fact that both pastors struggled to remember the name of the girl being baptized should be a major red flag...just for starters.
